The Teeswater Agricultural Society would be honoured to have you
represent them as the 2025-2026 TEESWATER FAIR AMBASSADOR. This program is open to young males and females between the ages of
17-22, as of Aug 1, 2025 who reside in Teeswater and surrounding areas. We will once again be offering a bursary to the winner upon the
successful completion of his or her reign. This is a wonderful opportunity for youth to get involved with the Agricultural Society and develop
communication, leadership and interview skills.

Each contestant will:

♕ Write and present a 2-3 minute speech

♕ Submit a cover letter and resume

♕ Answer an impromptu question

♕ Be interviewed by a panel of judges

♕ Receive a gift basket for participating

♕ Help out during fair weekend

The Ambassador will have a chance to travel to Toronto on two
occasions; OAAS fair convention in February 2026, and the Ambassadors of the Fair competition in August 2026. They will represent the
TEESWATER AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY at various activities throughout their year as Ambassador.

The program will be held at the Teeswater Agri-curl on Wednesday

SENIOR AMBASSADOR’S MESSAGE

Keisha Schiestel 2024 – 2025

Welcome to the 169^th Teeswater Fall Fair where there is “Plenty to see from A- Zee”.

My name is Keisha Schiestel and I was honoured to be the 2024-2025 Senior Ambassador. I lived in Teeswater most of my life and I am now pursuing my education at Canadore college in my final year of Civil Engineering Technologist.

My duties began at the Teeswater Fall Fair where I was able to help out with many of the events. I kicked off the weekend by introducing myself and being a part of opening the 168th Fall Fair. Following opening ceremonies, I helped out with serving wings on Friday night. Saturday was a busy day showing in my 4-H Beef achievement day before partaking in the fair parade, handing out ribbons at the beef show, and helping out with the frog jumping competition. I was able to spend the afternoon watching the pulls at the track and walking through the community exhibits. Sunday morning I attended the Fireman’s breakfast before helping auction off pies and cakes. I watched the smash up derby and combine derby!

Throughout the year, I had the opportunity to attend many local fairs, including the Mildmay, Dundalk and Kincardine fall fairs. At the Kincardine fall fair, I was able to try my hand at bale throwing and axe throwing. At the District 10 meeting in Rocklyn, we listened to guest speakers and participated in the “finding your voice” workshop. Following the meeting, I rushed back to be in the Teeswater Santa Claus Parade then handed out candy to the kids visiting Santa. I also went in the Hanging of The Green Parade in Mildmay. I then attended the OAAS convention in Toronto, where we listened to guest speakers about personal finances, CNE information, mental health and public speaking tips! We also had many opportunities to meet fellow ambassadors, pin swap and see all of the exhibitors at the trade show.

As my reign as the Teeswater Senior Ambassador comes to an end, I would like to thank the Teeswater Agricultural Society for providing me with this opportunity and support. Thank you to the volunteers and board members for their hard work and dedication to our town and hosting our spectacular fall fair each year. As well as the sponsors, volunteers, and community support that make it possible.

I am looking forward to competing at the 2025 CNE ambassador of the fairs competition and crowning this year’s 2025/26 Senior Ambassador.

I hope to see everyone at the fair!
